Wish I knew this place sooner, so I wouldn’t have to eat boring meal deals for the last several months 😭 love their hot filling paninis for just 2 pounds each. Other foods are affordable also.

They sell breakfast gear, salt n pepper chicken gear, chicken legs, toasties, hot and cold paninis, hot drinks, cold drinks. They also do fish n chips, chicken curry and pastries. Belter traditional pasties. It's so cheap and tasty, it's a place you'll go to time and time again. Amd the coffee out of the machine is spot on for £1 a cup. One of Liverpool's gems. Very friendly staff!

Paul and his wife have had this cafe over 50 years and they are very friendly and helpful when you are ordering your food and eating on the premises.
The prices of the food and beverages are very reasonable indeed.

What a fab place lots to choose from great value for money, staff very friendly and pleasant . I had sausage bacon & black pudding on a barm portions were great and filled me for the day, treated my dog to some pork ribs which I did try they were delicious 😋 . I came upon this place while waiting for my son who had an appointment at the new Clatterbridge can't believe I've been missing out on the oven door bakery as my son has had numerous appointments over the years at the Royal & the Linda McCartney Centre travelling from Salford (Greater Manchester) to Liverpool. This is now my go to place when I'm in the area- Service

Consistently Outstanding - I bring an adult with learning disabilities past this shop and without fail he wants to go in and choose a treat. The staff are superb with him, talking to him despite his inability to talk back. Not many people go to the trouble. Caring, friendly and a real scouse welcome. See you soon. Andy & George
Used to go here with my mum as a kid nearly every day on a walk through to town. Love the food and the staff where always so kind. They all knew me very well. Still go here sometimes but don't remember me anymore I think they might have new staff. Food is still really nice tho. Always wanted to work here as a child 😂
They do a decent range of comfort food such as pies/pasties, then also occasionally have other one off dishes on. All extremely good prices. I enjoy an almost daily flapjack from here as well. Nice family business on the whole.

Great friendly staff the guy and ladies who work there are always polite and pleasant, the salads are great and big portions aswell just the thing for a hungry worker in the summer. The hot food is equaly good, I or none of my work mates have ever been ill or suffered death as a result of the food as suggested by one review ! Food here is good quality at low prices because people come back for good honest food at low prices not £5.00 for saucer of coffee in costa or starbucks !Opening hours
